March 9 is Fairfield County’s Giving Day

Town Players is in it to Win it!

For the first time ever, we’re participating in Fairfield County’s Giving Day. It takes place on March 9, 2017. Our goal is $10,000 — and all the money we raise will be used to support our community theater productions as well as our educational programs for kids, teens, and adults, and to maintain the wonderful Powerhouse Performing Arts Center.

What is Fairfield County Giving Day?

Giving Day is hosted by Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. The event is designed to inspire residents throughout our region to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofit organizations in just 24 hours through online donations. It invites those who love Fairfield County to come together and make an incredibly powerful impact by supporting local nonprofits.

The foundation also makes prize money available to the nonprofits to amplify donations, excite nonprofits and donors to participate, and keep momentum going throughout the day!

We’ll post more information on the prizes we could win with your help as soon as it becomes available, so keep checking back.

How Can I Show My Support for Town Players of New Canaan on Giving Day?

Couldn’t be easier.

On March 9, visit the Town Players of New Canaan profile page on the Fairfield County Giving Day website. You’ll find instructions on how you can support our efforts. The minimum donation is $10 and, of course, there is no maximum.
